A new website - www.iconobloc.com - has just been launched which aims to build the world?s largest sculpture, enabling Internet users from across the world to be part of what is expected to be the largest ever piece of collaborative artwork. The site already has participation from more than 40 countries.
So how does it work?
Imagine creating your own virtual sculpture with its own name, shape and set of character traits.
Then imagine being able to interact with your sculpture via email on a daily basis, exchanging views, nurturing it, and watching it evolve.
Now picture your individual sculpture as part of a huge global sculpture, comprising thousands of different shapes, each with their own personality traits, which in turn determine the overall mood of this gigantic, global, ever-growing creation.
