I own several Dalis. My latest purchase was from the Divine Comedy/Purgatory/Canto XI. It is block signed only and not numbered. I purchased this lovely Dali from a gallery auction. It came with a COA and appraisal for $1250.00. The auctioneer relayed to me the following - Dali did not hand sign, block sign or number all works from the Divine Comedy. Therefore, the more of these items the work contains, the more valuable. I do have another work from the Divine Comedy/Paradise/Canto XVI which is block signed and hand signed, and this one is appraised at $2500.00. However, believe it or not, I acquired this one for only $200.00. I have seen other Divine Comedy works that are block signed/hand signed/numbered and nicely framed/matted going for in excess of $4000.00. I would be very interested in any reputable dealers of original Dali works that you know. Good luck!
