...if you trace the outline of a subject before filling in the details inside? Personally, I don't think so as it's a technique and ensures that your dimensions are accurate... Leaves the artist in a position to concentrate on the details. (I do think, however, that the dimensions and outline of a drawing are crucial to the overall realism of the finished art work.) What do you think?
