I am a fine art photographer seeking gallery and agent representation. My web site Northstar Gallery http://northstargallery.com/ has extensive images in both color and silver gelatin fine art prints. My current topics include: figurative work from Paris, Milan and Moscow, Coney Island, Eastern State Penitentiary, classic automobiles as form and line and a series on "Machines".

Recently I have decided to use Bokland Custom Visuals, which has established an on line sales gallery for my fine art photography. These prints are crafted from very high quality digital scans of the original negative or transparency and then printed on a LightJet 430 laser printer which produces superb quality photographic prints.

The LightJet 430 is a stunning combination of digital technology and traditional photography. Using three lasers, the LightJet 430 exposes conventional photographic paper and the latent image is then processed with traditional photographic chemistry. The result is a true photographic fine art print. Sophisticated interpolation software allows the creation of images as large as 50" x 120". The LightJet 430 features an enhanced color gamut and tonal range, and is capable of producing 68 billion colors with gradations that are extremely fine. The LightJet 430 prints images in continuous tone, true color with no pixels, ever.

LightJet prints exceed the quality of all other printing methods, and are made on Fuji Crystal Archive paper which has a 75 year archival rating. The prints I am getting back from Bokland are superior to the hand printed custom prints I have been doing.

Some of the images are formatted as both prints and posters with white borders and text. Images may be ordered on line in sizes from 8x10 to 20x30. I have also just received a 30 x 60 print mastered from a 35mm negative for a gallery show that is just stunning. It would have been impossible to make such an image from the conventional process.

Prints ordered on line from Custom Visuals are shipped within two days. They offer an additional option of framing and matting. The Custom Visuals option offers very attractive pricing, because once the image is digitally mastered the process is fully automated with the cost saving being past on to the artist.

I have a link from my dART gallery to the Custom Visual On Line Gallery

Please take a look.

The Custom Visual Sales Gallery is at:

I believe this format could be a very valuable resource to galleries and agents because of the high quality, the quick turn around time and the absence of any need to maintain an inventory. Additionally the images formatted as posters are available in volume at very attractive prices.

Please let me know what you think about this option.

Thanks
