I have been on this site periodically for over a year now and have not found the cafe "group" to be dogmatic nor tyrannical. There have been many difference of opinions voiced on a wide variety of subjects. This is contradictory to the dogmatic tyrannical label that you place on the group as a whole. Perhaps you have judged the cafe patrons too quickly. I consider your assumptions to be made prematurely. Maybe you should not be so hasty in forming such harsh opinions of the "group". On the other hand , if this is just an experiment you are doing (master thesis maybe?) to see how the "group" responds to negative feedback then I think you should get an E for effort. Oh, I'm truly sorry, you did say you never finished your degree right? So that would mean you have a batchelor's degree maybe? Well, I think postdoctorate sounds better anyway. I thought however, in an earlier post you said your minor was in history. Must have misread that. Well, good luck in your pursuits whatever they may be. Not everyone on this site is uneducated.As a matter of fact most are very educated, they just are not so insecure that they feel they have to boast about their accomplishments to the world.
