To the two people who supplied me the information about "The White Slave"
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH.
However, I am left with still a further quandry. You see, I went to artprice.com to inspect the value parameters of the artist responsible, namely: Jean Jules Antoine Lecomte de Nouy -- but there isn't any value parameters for his work listed.
And I also went to artmagick.com to view an image of the piece that DOES appear on orientalistart.com, but none was available for view. Nor was there any listing available for the artist by name.
I also did a painting title search for the other piece shown to be by Lecomte de Nouy which is called: "Minaret in Algiers" but alas, the same result was provided: nothing.
Please forgive my imposition but I would hope someone might provide a further resource into discerning the value and location of the painting.
And does anyone know about the "other half" of "The White Slave"? Or is this an obtuse piece of information?
I wonder. Again, thank you in advance for your help.
Respectfully,
Alexander Peña
