Hello fellow artist!
My name is Mailk, I'm a painter. I have been searching the web for artist sites that are RUN, OWNER and OPERATED but a group of artists, and have a very few...so i'm presenting the following to the forum, requesting feed back.
I am interested in building a website for emerging artist. My plan is to build a site managed, run and maintained by the artists who are on the site. I do have a few ideas on how the site should look and what the site should offer, but I'm very willing to change my ideas so that the site will be the best for all artists involved. I do have a web developer who has shown intrest in working with me on this project, but I'd prefer to have the artists on the site do that work.
A limited liability group could be formed allowing each artist to claim part ownership and recieve some financial benefit from this venture.(I have a lawyer to help us do this).
I AM NOT ASKING ANY ARTIST FOR MONEY...I'm sending this email to see who might be intersted in this venture, or who may have a better idea than the one I'm presenting. I look forward to hearing from all of you great artists and keep up the good work.
