I have a painting by Ruge of a candlestick and crystal dish in a library like setting. In the back is some artist info. The short version is this...Born June 10 1919. At the age of 11 he won free scholarship to the Brighton School of Art. At the age of 14 he started professional training. at the age of 16 he produced his first professional flower paintings in the Dutch style.
