I purchased a painting by Mr Vail today 10-19-02. A picture of the artist is on the back from a news paper article aditionally a sheet glued to the back indicated that he has been an active artist all his life. His carrer began in Quitman, Louisiana. Being raised on a farm gave him an appriciation and love of natureand the outdoors this deeply inbred and is protrayed in each of his paintings.
He has painted over 5,ooo paintings . Landscapes are his favorited subject and oil is his favorited medium. He has studied at Louisiana State UNiversity Cicago Art Institute and Chicago Academy. He has also studied under several accomplished painters. He is a well known caricaturist , cartoonist. lettering and caligraphy artist. He has worked as a commercial artist in Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago and Milwalkee.
