I am a UK based artist, who mainly paints bright,original and fun costumed cats. I have done some illustration work for various animal charities and some of my designs are featured as e-cards by Care-Mail and have proved very popular.
I have approached many publishers who all give the stock reply that my work "does not fit in with their range". I find it a little hard to understand how it is possible to fit into range without plagiarising the work of other artists.
Given the popularity of my e-cards and my charity work, I seek a publisher willing to try something a little different and who will give me a chance.
