I just acquired a small (about 5-7/8" w X 7-1/4" h), signed drawing of "Weighing In." I believe it is a preliminary drawing. It is signed to John Connors for his fine horses, and dated March 1958. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Who was John Connors (perhaps related to the Del Mar Racetrack)? Under what circumstances did Norman Rockwell give this picture to John Connors? Does it have any value? It's in pristine condition, and has been sealed in apparently an original wooden frame since 1958.
