I would like to hear from other artists on this topic.
Has anyone got to a high point in their career when they begin to attract a large amount of public attention, and the artist knows exactly "what sells" and at that point realizes that success can ruin one as an artist....
Whatever an artist is, it is surely a sincere thing, a pure thing, something beyond materialism, beyond wealth and presumptions....
Art for Arts sake, the old adage.....is it not?
