My uncle was a friend of Robert Wood before he died. My family lives in and around Portland where Robert's Gallery was located. Upon my mothers recent death I ended up with this huge 2 1/2 foot by 5 1/2 foot painting or print by Wood. My mother said my uncle bought it for her many years ago and that it was worth a lot of money at the time? It has a gorgeous elegant wide frame with a gold plaque which says Golden Surf with Robert Wood under that. It has numbers on the backing.. It says Windsor Art Products.. Division of Illinois Molding Co... Chicago 8, Illinois #P352 #V5029-(590) GOLDEN SURF.I would appreciate any comments you may have regarding this piece or to let me know you also have one identical..Thanks
