Hello,
Its been awhile, but I have been busy. I've opened my own gallery offline, and yes, as big a pain in the butt having a NONVIRTUAL gallery is, there is still a need for the public to have access to Art. I've done a ton of research and find the combination of on and offline working well. I don't know how many of you have done sales online of your own work, but I have done a fair bit over the last year. Is it getting easier for you to make sales online of your work?
The Gallery I've got offline is accepting submission from artists, it is in one of the best tourist spots in all of Canada, and it is a gallery with a small coffee shop in the middle. Most of the clientelle are between 30-60, professionals seeking to invest in their work. I'm still making no promises that anyone will sell, lol, but at least it is an outlet for those of you that might need one.
Ok, if you wish to send in a submission, you can send a small portfolio of your work to us, myself or my partner will contact you if we are interested. If you do not include a SASE, I won't be sending it back, as I get a lot of submissions, and it is rather pricey to do the returns. You can also keep your portfolio here if you like and include it into our catalog of artists, and if one of the clients likes your style, we will contact you. How about that?
Hows everyone been, I am just getting back into reading the postings here, now that I've got my computer set up in the gallery I can finally access it regularly.
You can send you submissions to this address:
Catseye Cafe & Art Gallery
P.O. Box 518
Salmon Arm, B.C.,

There you go, looking forward to reading the posts here...
