Are you an artist looking for worldwide exposure?
I am the promotions coordinator for the top internet DVD website www.thedigitalbits.com. It's an online DVD news magazine, you can read more about us here: http://www.thedigitalbits.com/advertise.html. The reason I am posting here, is because I am launching an Artist of the Month program.
We often have extra banner space and I want to do something a little different with it. We serve over 16 million pages a month, with about 1 million unique users. I have always been a big supporter of the arts, so I decided to start a "Digital Bits Supports the Arts" program. I know many artists struggle to find widespread exposure, and I had this idea to use our traffic to help. In exchange for the cost of materials (i.e. a piece of work), you will have a graphic on our home page that will link to your website and/or the Artist of the Month page on our site and up to 400,000 banner impressions. The Artist of the Month section will tell about your background, your work, contact/sales information etc.
Our readers are worldwide - mostly US, Canada and UK. We are heavily read in the Hollywood studio system, and include Hollywood directors like Peter Jackson, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and James Cameron. So there are many readers that have the money to spend on art. I realize the demographic isn't a perfect fit, but most people that really are into movies appreciate other forms of art as well and the numbers of readers/exposure we can offer are huge. The editors of our site, Bill Hunt and Todd Doogan, have also been asked to write a consumer book about DVD which has already broken pre-sale records for McGraw Hill and is set to be published early this fall, so that will bring even more readers to the site.
If you think this might be beneficial to you, feel free to contact me to submit your website and ask whatever questions you might have.
Thanks for your time, I am excited about launching this project and hope to work with some of you soon.
- Sarah Hunt
