Greetings,
We, at Poetic License, want to welcome Los Angeles and the world to join us every Tuesday night, 8 - 11, at the Moondog Cafe (7160 Melrose Ave., one block west of La Brea in Hollywood) for spoken word and ravenous poetics hosted by Larry Jaffe the author of Jewish Soulfood. It is an open mic forum, three poems or five minutes. One can sign up by email: signup@incognitocafe.com or before the event. Bring your words and smiles, and a few bucks to buy some world class Moondog fries. It is an all ages gathering, casual dress, full menu, plenty of room, and a great family vibe.
