I was gutted, too - it doesn't seem fair that someone as gentle and inspirational as Bob wasn't with us anymore. If I could have a one-to-one with anyone, it would have been Bob.
I'm glad you managed to get started with your paintings. You can learn a lot from the TV show, but it's good if you can find an Instructor to show you first hand how it all works, and to guide you when the bushes go a bit smuushy, or the mountain looks "iced"!
The main thing is that you got started - it takes a lot of courage to put that first dab of paint on the canvas to begin your sky and happy clouds. Keep on going :o)
