My name is Elizabeth Gore-Dye, I am Art Gore's daughter. I need help in correcting an injustice that has been done to my father. He was a very generous man and sometimes he made business deals with people who took advantage of his good nature. One such deal has resulted in the theft of his work. There are people on the internet (who shall remain nameless) that are selling his work and do not have permission to do so. I believe I know where they got the pictures and that they are not legally allowed to represent Art Gore nor did they acquire the pictures in a legal way. I have all of the negatives in my possession and have copyright on all his work. My problem is I do not know where to proceed from here. It doesn't bother me that his work is being sold, I am overjoyed that people are still enjoying his work. It bothers me that these people or those they represent are reaping any benefits through the theft of my father's lifelong work. He would be very upset if he were still alive. My family is heartbroken over this. If there is anyone out there who could suggest a way to resolve this I would greatly appreciate it and so would my family.
