I don't know if this will help you or not but I have a framed advertisement for "Savage Cosmetics" by Frank Farkas that dates probably to sometime in the 1930's, it was taken from a magazine, I think "Fortune". I am also trying to find out something about this artist and keep coming up empty-handed. But at least it mayhelp to know that he also did advertising graphics. Good luck -
