At an Estate Sale I recently purchased a signed original oil painting by Wadsworth Jarrell. Subject is Black Jazz Musicians. circa-about 1965. Dimensions of frame 18” by 14”, canvas a few inches less. Signed by Wadsworth Jarrell. The frame is marked "Made in Sweden" and the framing is marked "Kotler" of Chicago.
Wadsworth Jarrell is the painter of the renown oil painting, "The Jazz Giants" and subject of Professor Robert Douglas's book, "Wadsworth Jarrell, The Artist as a Revolutionary".
Painting purchased in Scottsdale, Arizona at an Estate Sale 12/03. Prior Owner now deceased came from Chicago in the 70’s.
I intend to list on eBay, but do not know where to put Reserve price. My specific questions are, "What is the painting worth?? and "What Reserve price should I use in an eBay listing?
