I did say they were amateurs, most other competitors seen that coming rather quickly. That's why I said I only beat a few people in 3 moves. An initial rating of 0.03% to 0.3% is a tenfold increase. I studied and played chess for many years.I watched chess tournaments and try to think at least 10 moves ahead when I play. I never rated myself because I never figured it mattered. I played because I liked the game. I guess that's where you and I differ. I loved 3-d chess because it was extremely challenging. I study things I enjoy. I loved genetics and neurophysiology. I hated mechanical physics but still rated in the top 5 people in the school. There was one A out of about 350 students, 4 B's (one being me) the rest some C's but mostly D's and F's. Out of around 165 credits of college courses in Chemistry and Art, I have one C(when I skipped the 8 credit chemistry prerequisite class)5 or 6 b's and the rest A's. So does that give you any indication into my ability to play the game?I rarely give my ratings since it doesn't really matter much to anyone anyway.I am still out of a job and not selling any art.So much for ratings.!! Oh, by the way my g.p.a for about 156 credit hours is 3.6. How does that sound? Now that every one is the cafe is sawing logs I'll move along. Ratings just never really mattered to me Keith, sorry.
