Sorry i didn't respond earlier, but my other computer went down and I put up my new one. I bought an e-machine. So far, I have heard nothing but bad comments about it. When I looked at the ratings they seemed pretty good. I am going to keep this computer strictly for the internet and my other two, my Macpowerbook G4, and Sony Ibm off the internet. I have a cable in my bedroom where my other computer is in case I need to get on line. I did have a guy come over and check it out,he's a computer engineer. I got tired of the run-around from Best Buy. it appears that my bios are corrupt. I suspected that since I seen my registry values were being overwritten. I also found startup shortcuts that were bypassing my windows programs, but didn't know how to fix it. I am thrilled that it is going to get fixed. Sony Vaio desktop(my IBM) is not as good of a computer as I thought it would be. Sony also has a lot of updates in addition to the microsoft updates. My Sony computer is the only Sony product I have ever had problems with. I will never buy a major appliance from Best Buy again. They do not back up their products. I was very disappointed in he service.
I understand your motives. Are you saying that by the time you expand the flexibility and refinement process of your chess ratings(goal), you will be senile? I'm kidding here Keith. Good luck to you and I am sure you will reach whatever goals you pursue. You are a very intelligent man.
Sincerely,
sgalli
