Regarding your post that Fred Nagler was a cousin- he was also a cousin to me- I am one of the "Wild" sides of the family, and it was my grandparents (Edith Mesh and Arnold Wild, Sr.)who picked up "On the Cross" in New York to bring it to the Lutheran Church it now rests in in Easthampton, MA. So you may have found another relative in the course of your search.
