It's expensive , around $4000-5000 for a booth ( if you can get in , it's juried ) then all the extras, brochures, business cards, etc. that's what credit is for.

It would help if you had a friend in NY or NJ you could stay with ,then of course you could create your booth out of "found" items and make your own business cards, and bring some PB&J with you for food. There is always a way to cut costs. The booth and electricity and of course the UNION you have to pay..........but it is a place of magic !

Great things come to those who go to NY if you have something the public wants, you will never know which path is yours to "grow"on...

I would suggest if you could just "go" to it to see for the first time, and take notes and get ready, that way you won't be "half-assed" about it. And take some business cards with you, you could possibly split a booth with someone next show, or meet a friend to help out. Usually all the artists are very nice and very helpful.

Try it. You'll like it !

Smooches,
COLE
