Subject: Picture post... If you want to share yourself with the virtual community
Not that this is virtually a community... but you get what I mean :). I thought it was pretty cool when we had that picture thread running a couple months ago. It deffinately put a more personal touch with those we communicate with frequently here in the "cafe." For those who are willing... I think it would be a good idea if we could share a picture every now and then of ourselves or something we did recently... whatever you wish I guess. For those of you who don't have web sites to post pictures to, I'd be willing to put it on my site (for storage) and give you the linking info to refrence it from this site. Provided, of course, it is only 72 dpi (since you cannot see anything on your computer screen higher than 72 dpi). And not a HUGE size file... the largest side of the pic to be 500 pixels or less. I will compress it so it doesn't take up too much space. A picture post is definately what we need here. We are, after all, visual people... given since we are visual artists. I think we would relate to one another MUCH better, and possibly enjoy the smiles of distant peoples. What do you think? I'll post the first one... From last night (HOT NIGHT!!! with no wind) at an art event downtown. My boots and smokes and then the toilet to which I was about to pee in. :)
