I have a Fridrich Hundertwasser panting that know one has heard of. The name of the painting is called THE TOWN. It was painted in August 1953, it is a Mixed media: oil and casein on bleached, primed composition board 29 X 69. I have done a lot of research on this painting and have come up with nothing. I contacted dealers and gallerys, but none of them have ever heard of this painting. I purchased books of lost and stolen art from him and it is not listed in that book either. The painting is signed twice once in paint and again in pencil. I know that all of Hundertwassers painting have a story of his life and the name of the painting on the back of all of his art which this picture has. I have pictures I can send if that would help. Okay its been 3 years since I posted this info... Anyone out there know anything at all about this painting??????
