Hi Jennifer last week I was driving down a street in Newton, Massachusetts and I noticed an interesting abstract painting in the trash -- it must be about 36 inches long by 27 inches wide I picked it up and I noticed it was a black and white watercolor and I thought, gee although it's an abstract it looks like it has something to do with music -- I thought it was some sort of musical group. When I got home I noticed the signature was Meiersdorff, '63, so I looked him up and discovered Leo Meiserdorff did in fact paint jazz scenes. Do you know anything about his abstract work? I think it is just beautiful and can't understand why anybody would throw it away.
Thanks for your time
