I think its horrible! Its art for marketing... not interested! I've said a million times before... I care less if I sell another piece, and I usually don't go out of my way to sell them regardless. And yes it's expensive to work with paintings that are usually over the size of 4 ft x 4ft, but its what I love to do. I'd feel like a whore who needs to shower after a hard night if I were to sell my paintings for 100 and 200 dollars (for the time, emotion and size of the work I'd value them much more). The only times I do that is when I need some cash fast, otherwise my average price is around 600-800 for some pretty good sized, and what I think is, nice art. That is still too low in my eyes... but since I don't produce much and haven't shown too many places its warranted. I'm so insecure (yet at the same time think it's da bomb) about my art I don't actively try to sell it unless I need to. 66 cents is BEYOND rediculous... it tells me the person doesn't give a crap about their own worth. As a buyer I'd be weary of someone who doesn't even value their own work enough to try to get an solid buck out of it. POOOT!
