What about all the crooked art dealers that prey on young, stupid artists?????? They use every trick of the trade to make a buck. The art business is nasty; it eats it's young and looks for more suckers.
Even the most prestigious art dealer in the world (Sotheby's) was full of crooks, liars and cheats. Who can you trust if you can't trust Sotheby's?
When it does come time to sue your prestigious art gallery for fraud, have plenty of money handy. Your lawyer will charge $100 per hour if he's stupid. If he's smart he will charge you $250-$500 per hour.
Not all art galleries are bad -- just most:)
