I have been holding onto a lithograph of Nocturne for almost 20 years. It is not framed but it is signed. I was dating someone at the time who worked in an art gallery and he convinced me to buy one. I paid $500 at the time. Does anyone know how much it is worth now? I feel terrible that it has never been framed to completely protect it as it has a small tear on one side (but doesn't touch the actual picture). My boyfriend now keeps telling me to just frame it and hang it on the wall but unfortunately it doesn't go with the asian/modern decor in my house. I also heard Mr. Hoppe died of Aids but don't know much else about him and am curious also. I must say his work is beautiful.
