I have been developing a program to keep track of artwork in a database. It allows you to store and keep track of images of different sizes and formats for each piece of work along with size information, description, etc... The program automatically generates JPEG images for use on the web. You can create custom watermarked JPEG's so that the ownership of the image remains obvious. It also will automatically generate web pages of all artwork in the database. Soon, you will be able to print out catalogs on your own printer.
There are some really neat features in this program. What inspired me to work on it is from working on www.searingarts.com which is my father-in-laws art website. It used to take me hours to add images and update the page. Now its a matter of seconds. It's really great as a catalog of all your work.
I'm looking for a couple people to help me test the program and give suggestions. Please email me at art@searingarts.com if you're interested in testing it. Limited computer knowledge is preferred. You also must have the ability to scan your images or have a number of your pieces in digital form.
Thanks,
-Bill Bither
