I would not bother purchasing from chimerique (Natalia Robbins) folks. I ordered a painting and paid for it back in Feb of 2004. I let her know that I would be fine with a few months wait and I sent her the pictures and information she needed to get started. In the beginning she said that she would be sending pictures updating me with the progress. I have never received anything form her. It's been over six months now and I have gotten nothing but excuses from her. First it was family problems, and then it was that she was behind. Now it's no replies at all. The painting was supposedly mailed a few times but I've been unable to get her to send me a tracking number are anything to confirm this. Now that it's been 4 weeks since the last time she said she mailed it, I get no reply to me emails and I'm afraid I'm out the money. I was stupid for paying her in full in the first place. She insisted on it and said of course that she always requires this and gave me a few phone numbers I could call her at it I had any questions or wanted to get hold of her. Well as you can guess the phone number worked great the first week and then she never picked up the phone again after I made payment. I blame myself for being so trusting but I don't think I'm going to work with anyone over the internet like this again. I just wanted to warn you all that if you do deal with her that you might want to keep my contracted painting in mind. Be safe and try a reputable artist with a history of good dealings. If anyone has questions or would like a copy of a few of the emails that we exchanged over the past six months then please email me. I don't want you to think that I am just a unreasonable consumer who doesn't understand it takes time to create a work of art. I've been most professional and optimistic but I'm six months into a 2 month transaction and I have been lied to repeatedly by this artist (con-artist) and I'm done with it.
