Years ago, I used to make measly few-dollar annual contributions to no less than five different environmental organizations. And for each one that I contributed to, another five new ones would contact me.
It makes you wonder how bad off we must be becomming, if it takes this many "earth-help" (my phrase) organizations to get things right. I was overwhelmed, so I stopped giving anything--- also, money got THAT tight.
Environmental organizations are like so many tiny little bandaids controlling the seepage of a far greater cancer. We need to work on the cancer (which is our world paradigm or world view).
