. . . mispelled "Planck" in title of my last post (oops!)

What is spirituality for ME?

This is risky territory for discussion. Please understand that I respect many different views, and MY view is but another of these, but since dit asked me, here goes:

I'll start with short answers:

Spirituality (for me) is my sense or awareness of a WAY that exceeds all human measure. Taoism (translated into English) uses the term "way", and I feel this is a pretty cool manner of using the term.

Sprituality (for me) has nothing to do with an unchanging spirit that carries forth the essence of any one individual for eternity. For me, there is no spirit, like a gas, that inhabits an independent earthly body, then leaves for some higher plane.

Spirituality (for me), however, IS a sense of extension of each apparently independent entity throughout all other apparently independent entities, and an extension of all entities towards an eternity that eventually dissolves independence of entities into ONE WHOLE.

In the same manner that the definition of ART has evolved to mean new things, I believe that the definition of SPIRITUALITY has evolved to mean new things. Hence, I would not share our former member, kwaja ali's, strict dictionary definition of the term.

Perhaps more on this topic later.
