Welcome to my gallery. I've posted a lot of paintings that I hope you enjoy. Unfortunately photos don't do the work justice. I would like to encourage you to purchase this work to really experience the feelings put into them.

Hi David!

I made the same mistake.

I worked as a graphic designer for 25 years and told myself the same stuff you are saying. I found that graphic design was a waste of time and energy. It is a rotten profession with nasty people (it gets worse, the longer you do it)

Since June of 1999 I have painted all day, everyday. I have about 60 of my paintings in my collection. But, I've sold about 900. I create and sell 180 paintings a year.

My plan is to keep this up until I drop dead.

I read recently that artists with dementia, Alzheimer's and senility often create better work after the onset of mental problems (something to look forward to)!

I think you have to be crazy to do commercial art and it's totally impossible to do when you actually do become crazy.

As for keeping art close by; I have twenty-three, 3-ring binders with excellent photos and my entire art history.

The marketing secret: "self-representing artist" : no galleries, no middlemen.

Rethink your options and live a better life -- it can be done.
