I just posted about my site, BringArt.com. That 40%-60% is precisely what is wrong with the way art sales is commonly conducted and what we are trying to change. I've always felt that the relationship between an artist and someone who buys original art needs to be intimate.

I'm glad that you've put your foot down...that's a very noble of you!
