I don’t make any money with DVD Graphics, it’s just something I like doing and it represents the same metaphor: “great art but………” The internet is full of studios that offer services to anyone that listens.
About a year ago I purchased a hard-drive-recorder that records great quality digital, free to air TV. The films I like I strip off ads and burn them to disk. In the past I used DVD label-images that can be found on the internet but soon I felt sorry for many of those artists who created them. So I started doing those labels my self; much more satisfying. (That of cause is no judgment about other artists who have to work under pressure that is put upon them by those who ‘know it all’ and like it ‘different’) I print these images straight onto ‘printable DVD-blanks’
It’s not so much that I will ever have time left watching all those films I collect, (by now about 120) but rather finding satisfaction in doing every aspect of processing those videos as good as I can. It’s just as useless as watching balls being kicked and tossed about but nevertheless it makes one feel good.
I gave up my website because the only people that have ever seen it are those I have constantly ushered too it. From now on I put my stuff on the net in minimalism for those who are curious enough to dig into it. Lad is one of those guys who didn’t need a hand to find my backyard.
The reason that I putt my film library on the net is that I can link every film to a site which provides background info to that film that is clicked on. Instead writing silly little notes, it serves friends as well (which I still have) and my thinning memory.

Being boring is very comforting…….
