I was wondering if anyone has sold any artwork from being on this site?

Also, if people sell their work from their own websites? If so, is it to people looking for artwork and just finding you, or did they already know your work and then come to your site?

And last, has anyone sold anything just from being on a portfolio type site?

I'm trying to figure out the best way of going about selling my work... ( do have a portfolio on this site and lots of hits from here to my web site, but no sales...)
