CALL FOR ART: Artistic Urbanism
The active dates for submitting artwork to this collection are Friday, March 11, 2005 through Sunday, July 31, 2005.
"In conjunction with Original Art & Photography (OAP) at Art.com, Internationally acclaimed artist Marcus Antonius Jansen has a new mission—to build a virtual collection of new original works through 'Artistic Urbanism,' a Call for Art and Competition inviting submissions influenced by or reflective of modern urban elements and environments.
Jansen is the sole curator for ‘Artistic Urbanism’ and will award two prizes:*
1st Prize: $1,000 (USD)- (and major expossure at art.com and other)
Runner-up: $150 towards an Art.com OAP Fine Art Print on Demand package
Deadline: 12 midnight (EDT) July 31, 2005
Entries: maximum 5 per artist
Accepted media: Painting, Watercolor, Photography, Drawing, Mixed Media, Digital Art
Submission format: JPEG files, 1–6 MB
Fees: FREE. Entrants must be OAP Member Artists* (free membership packages available); 4 images required for live Portfolio and entry; Portfolio images need not all pertain to Collection theme, but must comply with Art.com Content Policy.
We are looking for: Unique-Creative and impacting work influenced by modern Urban life which can include graffiti-pop-urban feel. 2D Media only-Paintings-Photography-sketches-drawings-anything that is different than the norm.
