I have had some success with sunlight. Just be careful about creating a glare on your work. I have used simple Kodak HQ Maximum Versatility - a small, inexpensive throwaway camera purchased at WalMart. Order your pictures in digital format on a CD. Getting a "straight-on" shot is touchy business. If your art is not "square" in your photo, you have to work on it in a graphics program, which may distort your artwork.
Anyway, it's cheap and easy. Try it.
