I have a piece which is signed -last name only "Churstin" or something similar - I identify the Chu portion of the signature. It appears to be a chaulk or pastel piece - it's very old, the pins holding piece in fram are hand forged square nails....the backing boards are crumbling to touch . It is a riverbed scene with a house in distance.....any suggestions on how to determine who the artist is and if the piece is of any significance?
