I am doing a research paper on high art vs. low artexecuted by any european artisit and contemparary documents characterize the political and social environment which nurtured the other voice i.e. anti-napoleonic sentiments from naploeons declaration of himself as emperor of the french in 1804 to his defeat at the battle of Waterloo in 1815. Can any one offer some help or suggestions for me. This came straight from my professors description of what the paper should be about.
