Pamela Anderson -Artist StatementAbstract painting is abstract. It confronts you. -Jackson Pollock I like to say I came into this world with crayons in my hands! Art is an inherent part of my being, and some of my earliest memories are of pursuing those instincts. Born with this passion, I have followed it with my heart and soul; creating, learning and evolving. My most recent work, releases my inner vision on environment, politics, and relationshipsthese areas affect and transform the flow of my creativity. I play with my paint and canvas, calling upon powerful emotions that emerge in my art. My favorite mediums are Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor. Sometimes I combine techniques and delight in watching my creation unfold in the making. Largely self-taught, I have studied at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and the Milwaukee Art Museum. My work has been described as Pure joy on canvas and an Explosion of emotion. I hope my use of color stimulates your imagination.
