Cruiser Art is the proud creation of two long-time Maui friends, Darshan Zenith and Steve Rummel. This truly unique art form captures the character as well as the nostalgic beauty of the rustic "Cruiser" still found today on Hawaiian surfing beaches. The cars featured are actually high quality museum piece scale models which have been meticulously and exquisitely "aged, dinged and rusted out" by Darshan, and are presented in original painted Hawaiian beach scenes. Meanwhile Steve listens and writes their Auto Biography as each cruiser recounts its own intriguing life story. These fascinating accounts tell of each Cruiser's exciting adventures and give the Cruiser a life and a personality beyond the print itself.
