An artist from Ukraine, studied art in Odessa College of Art and architectural department in university of Poltava. In the age of about 16 he was deeply impressed and inspired by pictures of surrealists like Dali, Tanguy, Magritte, Delvaux. It was the time when the only permitted art style in Soviet Union was a social realism and artists like Vlad Kumpan, who wanted to work in other directions didn`t get any chance to be famous. But the time has changes, Soviets gone and Vlad takes part in different Exhibitions today, mostly within the Ukraine and he`s going to be an International artist with a little help of Internet galleries.
