Magdalena Zajac was born in Warsaw (Poland) in 1961 in an artist family.She emigrated to Switzerland in 1980, where she studied at the High School of Visual Arts in Geneva from 1981 to 1984. She won the first prize for her graduation work at this school. After a pause due to personal and artistic upheavals, she resumed artistic activity in 1998. Profile The way the artist depicts an "X-ray" is certainly unique. The use of oils works well for the most part. The image overall fails to capture the viewers attention long enough to evoke any emotions however. The image lacks details and intricacies which keep a viewer interested in a piece.
