I am a full time representational artist, executing most of my work in oil and watercolor.Art has always been a passion of mine. I knew from a very early age that art was going to be a strong influence in my life and that I wanted to know as much about art as I could possibly learn. I still strive to learn something new every day. It takes practice and patience to be a full time artist and I am finally able to devote one hundred percent of my professional life to my studio work. After many years working in commercial art, making a living as a graphic artist for Lockheed Martin, I finally opened my art studio to the dedication of purely traditional art. I attended Graphic Design of Delaware Valley (GADV) and the Art Institute of Philadelphia. I have attended several workshops and studied traditional painting under Robert Spriggle and later, Juanita Crosby (former owner of The Firehouse Gallery located in Bordentown, NJ). I have been in many shows and have sold work throughout the country.I love everyday scenes, animals, flowers and nature itself. I hope that the collectors of my work can be touched in some way to 'Stop and Smell the Roses' for a moment and reflect on the joy and beauty that has been given to us each day. I have 2 studios. My primary studio is in Bucks County, PA. I also spend a good portion of my time on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I consider myself blessed to be surrounded by such a variety of nature and subject matter. The wetlands of the Eastern Shore are reflected in much of my work. The natural beauty of both areas is a treasure trove, providing a never ending supply of ideas. As an artist, I prefer to not confine myself to any one theme or subject, but prefer doing a varied range (cityscenes, landscapes, pet portraits, floral, waterscapes and more). Commissions may be done from sharp, clear photographs. Thanks to the internet, distance is no longer an issue.
