A short vampire story was the inspiration for the digital artist Peter Stanimirov to create the digital artwork with the same name One for the Road. The author of the story is Stephen King whose books become a inspiration for an exhibition of a artist.

Peter Stanimirov has illustrated the comics:Bubachko, Caramela Mu, Puki and the galactic pirates,The fortress of the immortals, Treasure Island andYantar in Daga (Rainbow) magazine;Bor and Radul, co-authored with Evgenii Yordanovin the Chuden Sviat (Wondrous World) magazine;Neotera and Pulsi in the Razkazi v Kartini (Stories in Pictures) Newspaper,Winnie the Pooh in Zname na Mira (Flag of peace) newspaper.Among the numerous childrens books he has illustrated are:The most golden gold, The crickets sabre, Bodlivkos jokes,Oh, Zabcho, Dr. Zs disciples,two volumes of Bulgarian folktales (by Angel Karaliichev), The tinder, and others.He has created the book cover artwork of Stephen Kings Stephen Kings novels and many other Bulgarian and foreign authors.Stanimirov has also illustrated Bulgarian science fiction booksby Svetoslav Slavchev, Ivan Marinovski, Lyubomir Nikolov,Petar Kardzhilov and Elena Pavlova.In the period between 1990 and 1998 he organized and participated in the creation and the publishing of numerous gamebooks by Bulgarian authors.Since 2000 he has been working as leading artist and art director in the computer games studio Haemimont Games and has contributed to the creation of the following games:- Celtic Kings(2002)- The Punic Wars(2004)- Imperivm (Great Battle of Roma)(2005)- Rising Kingdoms(2005)- Glory of the Roman Empire(2006)- Imperivm Romanvm(2008)- Grand Ages: Rome(2009)- Tropico 3 (2009)- The First Templar (2011)- Tropico 4 (2011)In 2009, Stanimirov was selected as one of the seventeen international artists, whose work was included in the luxury art bookKnowing Darkness: Artists Inspired by Stephen King,published by Centipede Press.The artist has also been awarded the Graviton prize For a good imagination and goodness of imaginationfor his contribution to the Bulgarian science fiction literature.He made the 2011 exhibition of digital portraits of celebrities such as Beethoven, Picasso, Salvador Dali and many others.
