Raffaella Matera Artist Statement:My artistic search is based mainly on man, understooding as a soul, in each action in a Time, life's moment that passing, and evolution's quantity He can develops and in a quantity of evolution an improvement of an individual and commun spirituality in each minute of absolute Time, conscious lived of being Life in Alived Humanity and vice versa.The Time also having untouchable consistence and twofold extension, that objective regarding to natural cycle and to earth movement, composed in that subjective: human, spiritual, extension with density and different extension, which in the moment coexist similarly Past, Present and Future, so are "complex moment".Similarly to moment he is the man, since in the present he is spirit in the time, like history is already time, like hope is time's yearning.When the complementary dimensions, objective and subjective, together will be intelective realised by man, so finally he will live in absolute time, a superior time.And, like passing time, the atmospheric element marking the natural milieu, moment on moment, similarly, in his life, the man mark own inward essence and the own enviroment with his chosen and actions.Such marking from the both fellow active objective has similar sensitive structure, apparent shape, in figure reportable to some sands in the deep of little river (beck), or the seashore, source own to transport of water, and the others situation, similar in nature where a natural element incides into in his energy another natural element in an unroll incessant moment .Conditioned to temporal factor and from activity, such apparently solid shapes, instead are fickles, unstables, fleeting, frails, but reborn from itself same, and such shapes variability in continue fluctuation, is renewed and repeated in the time and delivery Infinity.Thus also for the man, with the conscious, unconscious perceptions, action and choices, that, from me transferred on experience's level, and realized in the painting structure, requalified in some primary data (canvas as space, color as matter) and in formal data spring up from spiritual evolution of man in the time and from perfect knowledge in himself, in a unity organic and atomized, so that the complex moment lived in soul, becomes affixing-moment in artworks structure through waterfall transport (beckground) of continue and rhythmical matter becomed spiritual, which coexist knowledgment recalling-past, waiting- future.
