This Greek - Byzantine icon has made on old restored wood by tempera and gold foil. The technic is that of Macedonian school at Holy Mountain Athos and Manuel Panselinos' palette of colors. The woods are pieces from old brocken boats, doors or furnitures and for restoration has used patina of Sepia ink, Shellac and Kashia to look old (but strong)again. This Icon you are looking now is a SAMPLE but we can do it again in a different wood with the same media for the prize 150 $ for portrait 30 X 40 cm or 200 $ for whole body 20 X 60 cm. Also we can made prints on wood with the same effect to originals for 60$ each. There is a big collection of all Saints.
